“We spent the day with a group of 7 friends on an excursion to Los Islotes and Isla Espíritu Santo with Dani and Kasia from Baja Below Surface, and it was absolutely outstanding. The boat and the boat ride were excellent—very smooth, professional, and comfortable. Our boat captain did an exemplary job, clearly experienced and making us feel safe from start to finish. Dani led the scuba diving portion with true expertise. He carefully reviewed the fundamentals, made sure each of us felt comfortable, explained the dive plan thoroughly, and led the dive with calm assurance. It was clear he truly cares about safety, comfort, and making sure each guest has an excellent experience. For the snorkelers, Kasia was equally fantastic—friendly, energetic, bilingual in English and Spanish, and she made the whole snorkeling group feel welcome and enthusiastic. Lunch on the boat was fresh ceviche—so tasty—and a perfect break after the underwater fun. The whole day felt like a seamless mix of adventure, professionalism and warm, easy-going hospitality. What really stands out is the team’s energy and engagement: Dani and Kasia both speak Spanish and English fluently, are alert to everyone’s needs, and bring a positive, friendly vibe that makes you feel you’re in good hands and having fun at the same time. If you’re looking for a memorable marine adventure with a team who genuinely knows what they’re doing and cares about your experience, Baja Below Surface is the one.
