We believe marine tourism can be both deeply emotional and genuinely responsible. We do not chase animals, feed them, touch them, or manipulate their behavior to create an encounter.

Instead, we observe. We listen. We adapt.

I grew up on the Mediterranean coast, so the sea was always part of my life. But it wasn't until I went diving that I realized how little I actually knew about the world beneath it.

The moment that changed everything happened when I was 20, in my first dive in Australia. After a few minutes underwater a dolphin came out of the blue and swam toward us to stop right in front and look into our eyes.

I was fascinated. In a world completely different from our own, there were creatures far more intelligent, curious and aware than I had ever imagined.

That curiosity took me from Australia to Mexico. When I discovered the waters of Baja California Sur, I found an unbelievable abundance of marine life — and a place I wanted to explore far beyond a single dive.

Baja didn't just give me a place to dive. It gave me a place to explore.

After 5 years of diving and leading expeditions across the Socorro Islands and the Sea of Cortez, I created Baja Below Surface.

My goal is simple: to share the feeling that first drew me below the surface — and help you discover an ocean that is far more extraordinary than you imagined.
